This is an unobtrusive Ajax/Typo3 solution to load content without page refresh.

'unobtrusive' means that Ajax is optional. The site basically works for search engines, old browsers, users with disabled javascript. This approach can be used  to improve existing sites without side effects like accessibility problems. It can also replace frame solutions.
